Thanks for sharing how you felt on that fatefull day that you lost Tommy.to many times things like this happen and your are left with questions,of why i feel your pain in these words that you wrote. did it help to write them down?,

Absolutely it helped. I had to tell myself the story. 
Expressing the situation in words helps to put the huge puzzle together. 
Trying to make sense of it all. After all we never got to say good-bye but he knew 2 weeks prior he was going to died and he told his dad. And I had the dream prior that he was run over and me seeing it in the dream. Poetry during the grief period really helps. 

The chapter I wrote for the book I edited in 2010  was a journey also. 
I'll post that 9 page chapter in pieces soon. 

Right now I have my 1 yr old granddaughter on my lap. LOL 
She's listening to her favorite song Stairway to Heaven. 
it used to put her to sleep but she's too smart for that now; she just likes to listen to it. 



People do not remember words as much as they remember experiences.
